Madeline Brings in the New Millennium^* with Her Third Birthday (Her birthday is actually on 1 February 2000, but we celebrated early--on January 23--before David Traveled to South America) -- plus Other Beginning-of-Millennium -- or possibly end-of Millennium^* Shots, including Jack and Sherry (plus family) and Joe and Dawn coming up for a very special 60th birthday.

^*The actual end-of-millenium will be at 23.99999^... hours on 31 December 2000 according to the US Naval Observatory, the official timekeeper for America--this because the original folks in Europe who gave us our current calendar managed to go directly from the Year One BC (-1) to the Year One AD (+1) without passing "Go" and collecting $200. That is, they left out Year Zero!
